Managing Director
William J. Garner, MD MPH
Bill began his industrial career on Wall Street. He then worked in medical affairs at Roche Laboratories. In '99, he cofounded and was CEO of BioBid (Biosurplus.com). In '00, Bill founded an independent strategic advisory practice, which was incorporated as EGB Advisors, LLC in '02. He performed residency training in anatomic pathology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and earned a Master of Public Health at Harvard. He is a licensed physician in New York.

Managing Director
Dennis M. Brown, PhD
With over twenty years of biopharma experience, Dennis founded ChemGenex Pharmaceuticals, Matrix Pharmaceuticals, and Valent Technologies. His experience ranges from compound synthesis and screening through the direction of registration directed clinical trials primarily in the field of oncology. His management responsibilities have included technology acquisition and development through business partnerships and private & public financings. He received his doctorate at New York University and held academic positions at Stanford and Harvard Medical School.

Technology Assessment
Amie E. Franklin, PhD
Amie earned her PhD in cell biology at Stanford. She completed seven years of post-doctoral training at UCSF and UC Berkeley. Amie entered industry as a research scientist. She joined EGB in November of ’02 and is a co-founder of Inverseon and Urigen.
